On Friday 18th October, I went to the store and did the download to get my pc upto 8. However, it came up with the secure boot is not configured in the bottom right corner and then after a couple of restarts later it came up with just a blue screen on start up.

Could not log into my pc, could only get into it through safe mode and tried everything I could and everything I found online, but all no good. So, I have had to restore my pc back to windows 8, then back to windows 8 pro and then onto windows 8 pro with media centre. All product keys that I used for the restore were my original product keys purchased from Microsoft when windows 8 first came out and when the media centre was offered as a free upgrade for windows 8 buyers last year.

All product numbers have been activated by microsoft and all updates have been done, so my machine is fully up to date. I have not reinstalled any of my progs apart from Norton and have since gone back to windows store to download windows 8.
